About us

About us

Apophansis is King’s College London’s peer-reviewed, student-led, academic philosophy journal seeking to publish papers written by postgraduate students in all areas of philosophy. We were founded by two KCL Philosophy MA students, Isabella Lucero and Nathanael Dorsch, in 2024 with two main goals: first, to serve as an intermediary step between writing undergraduate papers and being published in major academic journals; and second, to give postgraduate students a chance to experience the academic editing process to see if it is something they are interested in pursuing in the future. Since September 2024, Apophansis has been run by Daniel Ayres and Lorenzo Prota who are both reading for an MPhilStud in Philosophy at KCL.
